Selected from the most distinguished barrels of Cabernet Sauvignon and enhanced by additional Bordeaux components, this wine is the boldest expression of the estate’s potential and power. Named “Indigo” for a color whose significance is profound in Japanese culture, this is a Cabernet Sauvignon of mighty stature the varietal is renowned for. 'ai' is crafted by selecting fruit from the most significant barrels of Cabernet Sauvignon and enhanced by minor yet critical additions of the other Bordeaux red varieties. 'ai' bears the hallmark of classic Napa Cabernet; graceful and powerful on the palate, while granted the subtleties of a wine grown at high elevation in the southern part of the valley.
